FotoFest Hires Madi Murphy as Associate Curator

FotoFest, a contemporary arts organization in Houston, has appointed Madi Murphy as its Associate Curator following the departure of Max Fields earlier this year.

According to an announcement by the organization, Ms. Murphy’s role at FotoFest will include managing exhibitions, public programs, publications, institutional outreach, and developing a curatorial strategy.

Steven Evans, Executive Director of FotoFest, told Glasstire, “Madi brings expertise and experience in curatorial administration, exhibition coordination, and nonprofit leadership. Her unique blend of artistic vision and organizational strategy makes her a valuable addition to our organization. We look forward to the innovative perspectives and positive energies she will bring to our mission of fostering global dialogue through photography and visual culture.”
