Project Row Houses Round 39: Looking Back, Moving Forward

Project Row Houses  Anniversary will be launched on Saturday with a Block Party that will be a big thank you to the community and organizations they have worked with over the years. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s 1969 exhibition Raid the Icebox, curator Ryan N. Dennis asked five artists to go through the PRH Archive and use it as a springboard to create a site-specific installation based on their findings. Include the work of Houston based artists Jamal Cyrus in collaboration with Ray Carrington Jr., Troy Gooden, Lovie Olivia, and New York based artists Valerie Piraino and Jessica Vaughn.
