London-based artist Danny Rolph populates his work with Pop Art references and gestural marks located in sunsets inspired by the skies of West Texas and Baroque Venetian painting.

Rolph discusses his exhibition with Matthew Lennon, Director of Civic Art + Design at the Houston Arts Alliance, touching upon the subjects of trends in contemporary painting and how Rolph's visits to Texas have influenced his new body of work.
