Tom Lea: A Diversity of Artistic Approaches

In honor of Tom Lea Month, Senior Curator Dr. Patrick Shaw Cable will speak on the ways in which El Paso artist Tom Lea was both inspired by and broke away from the Impressionist style. Lea’s work will be discussed in terms of the diversity of its stylistic influences, such as social realism, modernism, and Art Deco.
