An exhibition featuring a trilogy of video installations, related photographs, and an outdoor sculpture by the Swiss-American artist duo Teresa Hubbard and Alexander Birchler–reflections on the geography of Texas and its cinematic landscape as tropes of representation and presentation.

Opening: May 29, 2015 | 7-9 pm

Artist talk: June 02, 2015 | 6-8 pm
Teresa Hubbard and Alexander Birchler will discuss their work with Tricia Y. Paik, (Indianapolis Museum of Art) and Claudia Schmuckli (Blaffer). The museum will stay open late for exhibition viewing before being seated.

Vanderbilt University scholar Lutz Koepnick speaks about issues of time in relation to screen-based installation art. A Q&A with the artists will follow.
