Sunscreen(Shorts): Japanese Cinema in the Season of Image Politics

A screening of works by Adachi Masao, Nagisa Ōshima, Ito Takashi, Matsumoto Toshio, Terayama Shuji, and Wakamatsu Koji. The films in the program are responses to Japan's post-war seiji no kisetsu (season of politics) that erupted during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
