Parlour Games: Ruloff Kip’s Toy Theatre

On display is a large toy theatre created in 1919 by Ruloff Kip. Features of the assemblage include moving mechanisms, several working lighting schemes, and an array of set drops and cut-out characters, based on Kip’s house and family members.
