A show of oil paintings by artist Ellen Berman. Often painting domestic objects, Berman aims to juxtapose the painted object to reality. The artist on her work: “I am interested in the notions of beauty, the extraordinariness of the ordinary, and the transitory nature of and inevitability of loss inherent in everything.”
