Sehba Sarwar: On Belonging

"Through her On Belonging multidisciplinary project, Sehba Sarwar explores her life as a transnational citizen alongside her family’s history of migration and displacement. Sarwar’s live performance beneath an oak tree on the Menil campus is interspersed with voice recordings of Sarwar’s mother, daughter, husband, and comments extracted from survey response cards completed by more than 300 community members in six cities."
