"Over the course of the weekend, Chinati will celebrate the opening of a year-long exhibition of rarely exhibited plywood wall works by Donald Judd, a portfolio of prints by Barnett Newman, and a new installation of paintings and prints by John Wesley in the Wesley gallery, all from Chinati’s collection. Chinati will host two scholarly talks on John Wesley by Linda Norden, curator, writer, and professor of art history, theory, and criticism. In addition, a musical performance will be presented by the Ladies of LCD Soundsystem with Nancy Whang and Rayna Russom on Saturday evening. On Sunday evening, Chinati will host the closing night of Solange's film When I Get Home, which has premiered at a series of screenings across museums and art spaces in the United States and Europe. As always, there will be open viewing of the permanent collection and the annual Made in Marfa event.
