"Alief Art House is honored to host Kumquat & Belial's Picturesque Terrors: Digital Drag Film Performance. Join us on July 1, 2020 at 9PM on https://www.twitch.tv/picturesqueterrors Performers will be accepting tips (Venmo @picturesqueterrors) and a portion of the proceeds will go to Black Trans survival funds! Also on view at the Alief Art House physical space is Kumquat's first solo show titled "Kumquat Gallery." On view by appointment until July 14. Kumquat Live! June 29th, 2020 10PM CST at the Alief Art House A live drag performance inside Alief Art House by Kumquat. Audience members are invited to watch from the curbside in order to maintain social distancing. -------------------------------------------------------------- Antonius-Tín Bui (District F) collaborated with Alief Art House started by Matt Manalo through the Diverseworks Project Freeway Fellowship. Their goal is to create a sustainable environment for creativity, jumpstart an art-focused movement in the neighborhood, and positively impact Alief’s image. Throughout the year, they will be highlighting local artists in the Alief neighborhood. Insta11ations is a project by Art League Houston in partnership with the City of Houston Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, with funding made available through Houston Arts Alliance."
