"Join us for the virtual opening of REPOSE Virtual Exhibition. This digital group exhibition curated by Leslie Moody Castro is composed of work of ten artists and features a hypermedia collection of works by: Haydee Alonso Ghislaine Fremaux Lando Valdez Britt Thomas Sara Fox Sara Vanderbeek Brian Ellison Anthony Francis Elaine Bradford Rabea Ballin The online opening reception will take place on July 1st from 7-8 pm (stay tuned for Facebook live link). This exhibition will feature this digital collection, a curator interview, artist interviews, and a live interactive video interview with curator Leslie Moody Castro. This exhibition is the next step in the evolution of group art exhibitions in the face of modern day crisis. "What does it mean to exist in a world where touch incites fear? Over time, I have become compelled by the slightest gestures of sharing space, of touch, of being so completely tranquil and at ease that we allow our bodies to naturally interact. I have become drawn to the revolutionary act of being at rest, of experiencing repose so utterly calm the proceeding day simply unfolds on its own whim. REPOSE is about the radically subversive act of simply being, of sharing space, of touching, of wearing each other with comfort and pride.
