Hedwige Jacobs: Come Alive for a Few Seconds

November 20 - January 02,2021

From the gallery: "Come Alive for a Few Seconds, the first solo-exhibition with the gallery of Houston-based, Dutch artist, Hedwige Jacobs. The exhibition will feature a variety of media: drawings, video installation, animation, and an elaborate installation in the back of the gallery. The artist is interested in the way people respond to one another and how they exist in the world: “It’s about isolation. We’re all alone, but we’re all together”.  - Hedwige Jacobs Jacobs’ work has been exhibited globally, and can be found in museums, private and corporate collections, such as: Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Houston, TX and  The Netherlands Embassy in Singapore. In September 2020, the artist was a part of a public art installation, “House of Cards" at The Discovery Green Conservancy in Houston, TX. Come Alive for a Few Seconds, opens Friday, November 20, and can be viewed during gallery hours: Thursday - Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Or by scheduling an appointment"
