KURT SCHWITTERS: Color and Collage

Color and Collage marks the first U.S. overview of Kurt Schwitters's career since the Museum of Modern Art retrospective 25 years ago, on view at the Menil Collection through January 30, 2011. The exhibition includes full-sized recreation of the artist’s Merzbau that is on display for first time in the U.S. and includes more than 100 assemblages, sculptures, and collages from 1918 to 1947. The exhibition is guest curated by Isabel Schultz, in collaboration with Menil Director Josef Helfenstein. This is definitely a must see.
