The Amon Carter Museum offers new insight into the genre of documentary photography during the 1930s in the new exhibition American Modern: Abbott, Evans, Bourke-White. This exhibition showcases the work of three of America’s most highly regarded photographers- Berenice Abbott, Margaret Bourke-White, and Walker Evans. American Modern is co-organized by the Amon Carter Museum and the Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville, Maine.
