Premiere of Howl and Boxing Gym

During your holiday break swing by the MFAH and catch the premiere of Boxing Gym, a documentary film by Frederick Wiseman who explores the world of an Austin boxing gym, focusing on the training regimen of people from all walks of life who aspire to reach their personal best. Howl, directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, also premieres and recounts the events in Allen Ginsberg's poems which were put on trial for obscenity in 1957 in San Francisco.
