David Adickes: A World of Splendor

South Texas College’s Pecan Campus Library Art Gallery opens an exhibition of the work of David Adickes. A World of Splendor features mixed media paintings and giclée prints by this Houston-based painter and sculptor. Adickes’s paintings encompass landscapes, still-lives and figurative works, primarily composed of geometric shapes and vibrant, bold colors. In addition to his paintings, Adickes is also known for his monumental concrete bust sculptures of U.S. Presidents.
