"Running now through June 30th, 2021 the Fiber Artists of San Antonio offer an online exhibition: Connecting Threads in Covid Times by visiting their website: https://fiberartistsofsanantonio.org/fasa-online-art-exhibition. The Fiber Artists of San Antonio is a non-profit organization engaged in promoting fiber art and fiber artists in our community and surrounding areas. Annually we have an exhibition at a gallery to showcase the work of these artists, but due to pandemic limitations things shifted. The exhibition showcases 57 entries representative of 33 of our member’s work. This includes art quilts, sculptural fiber art, wall hangings including mixed media, and wearable art garments or accessories.
In addition there are interviews with some of the fiber artist members who participated in this Exhibition to talk about their involvement with our organization and fiber art. You’ll be inspired by the artistry and skills of our participating artists and also with the thoughts and reflections that the artists will be sharing in the interviews.
