Adam Land: Fractured Landscapes

April 01 - April 27,2021

From the organizers:
"The exhibition Fractured Landscapes, will be Land's first solo exhibition with the gallery and features ~20 pieces created over the last two years. While the grip of the global pandemic requires us to maintain distance from one another, his microscopic detailing and incredibly fine palette knife work invite us to come closer, demanding a physical and visual closeness to absorb the intricacies of the precisely-rendered worlds Land creates.
“I see the area near our vacation home, but I also see an oil refinery. Each viewer is likely to see something different.”
This exhibit is comprised of Land’s idea of modern landscapes through an abstract expressionist lens. Past or present, futuristic or antiquated, this exhibit will move you to perceive a different relationship with what a landscape can evolve to become. The exhibition will be open during normal building hours, and all special events.
Visit the artist website for full bio, c.v., upcoming events, and all available artwork.
