CLOSED MONDAYS features the work of eight local artists at Austin's new gallery space, grayduck gallery. Curated from the basis of a common occupation and commitment to art, the artists included in this exhibition all work for fine art museums throughout Austin and who also make work of their own. The "proletarians of Austin's fine arts museums" include Milli Apelgren, Annie Arnold, Joe Janson, Bill Molthen, Casey Polacheck, John M. Sager, Cassandra Smith, and James Tisdale. A range of media with collographs, terra cotta works, found object sculptures, photography, and more will be on view.
