From Box 13 ArtSpace: "BOX 13 ArtSpace is pleased to present three exhibitions opening May 22, 2021. In the Front BOX and Back BOX, LOOP; New Non-Objective Paintings features the work of seven Texas-based artists working in painting and collage. Visually delightful and engaging elements of color and space, the works push and pull between dimension and surface.  In the Window BOX, Nicolle LaMere’s site-specific installation Point of Origin features hand-formed soil spheres made of samples taken from various places of personal importance. Through collection and process, LaMere investigates time and place as an experiential accumulation. In the Upstairs BOX, Liv Monique Johnson invites you to explore Wellspring, an installation evoking both familiar and alien places, and a tension between exterior and an unknowable interior."
