Creature Comforts is curated by Jennifer Nuttalland and includes recent Lawndale studio resident, Dawn Black's gouaches, Anne Wood's kitsch sculptures intertwining taxidermy animals with liquids, and Mindy Kober's gouaches depicting battles between Civil War soldiers and domestic animals. Jennifer Nuttall’s collages explore identity through animal hybrids, while ceramic artist Wesley Harvey figurines are cast from found thrown away objects.
