"Rhythm by Heart is an exhibition of new work by Du Chau primarily featuring site-specific ceramics and wire installation artworks. The featured works evoke compelling memories of Du Chau’s childhood, an effect intended to create a quiet and contemplatively charged atmosphere within the gallery space. Du Chau uses repetition to reference the cycle of human life and plants in nature. The purpose of the installation is to create a memorial – evoking meditative thoughts about respect and remembrance.
