Sargent and the Sea

Experience the maritime paintings and drawings that Sargent produced during the first five years of his career that have not yet been examined in a museum exhibition. Also on view is Houston's Sargents exhibition which complements the Sargent and the Sea and offers a look at John Singer Sargent's entire career within 30 works from the museum's own and local private collections.
