Norman Bluhm: 1948-1998- A Retrospective of Works on Paper

Bluhm's exhibition at McClain Gallery consists of paintings and drawings on paper from 50 years of his career. Known as a major player in the second generation of Abstract Expressionists, his abstract works from the 1950s and 1960s are included in this exhibition as well as the sensual figures of his later works. The artist's sketchbooks also provides a close look into Norman Bluhm's approach and technique.
