Reclaimed: Paintings from the Collection of Jacques Goudstik

"On February 6, 2006, 200 old master paintings were restituted to Marei von Saher, the daughter-in-law and sole living heir of Jacques Goudstikker, 66 years after they had been looted from Goudstikker's Amsterdam art gallery by Reichsmarschall Hermann Goring as he led the Nazi onslaught into Holland in May 1940. Forty-six of those 200 works are included in this extraordinary exhibition."
