From McNay Art Museum:
"Austin-based artist Lance Letscher presents fantastical collages and drawings depicting lush, fictional gardens; dense, invented landscapes; and curious dwellings. Letscher is known for crafting meticulously constructed compositions sourced from a range of antique papers, discarded notebooks, magazines, and record covers. This presentation is the artist’s first solo exhibition at the McNay and includes approximately two dozen artworks.
Homes & Gardens: Lance Letscher Collages is organized for the McNay Art Museum by René Paul Barilleaux, Head of Curatorial Affairs. Funding is most generously provided by the Elizabeth Huth Coates Charitable Foundation of 1992."
