"Basket Books & Art is pleased to announce a solo presentation of new work by Houston-based artist London Ham, featuring sculpture, playable media, and an accompanying bibliography of texts, which acts as an invitation and guide to the exhibition’s linguistic network.

this is an open system comprised of fragments of information   which   when assembled  construct a narrative          each constitutes a site and tempo for the artist          their arrangement   however   eludes autobiography         auto-fiction   perhaps

language is never complete     it obscures while seeming to inform

these objects are for the viewer and the artist expanded sites of discovery    as individual documents    as gestures to their source texts    or as  physical and digital  materials within the open system of the exhibition

the artist aims to transfer narrative power to the viewer     whose experience is an assembly of   their own subjective desires  and prior associations with     or unfamiliarity with     these materials"
