Nancy Hull Kearing: Symphony of Color

December 02 - January 29,2023

From LHUCA: "Nancy Hull Kearing paintings present a rare example of non-objective art created by a woman.. Using music as her inspiration Kearing follows in the footsteps of revolutionary artists like Kandinsky with music being one of her primary inspirations. Kearing’s work gravitates between color field abstraction to using rectilinear forms in combination with emotive coloration. The diversity of her work shows the artist's dynamic sense of rhythm and composition and mastery of nonobjective art."
