2009 Summer Studios Exhibition

August 15 - September 13,2009

"Seven area college/university students, nominated by their professors and selected by a panel of professional artists, will be creating original artwork in the Artist Project Spaces during a six-week long residency. In addition to the studio space, this residency includes opportunities to engage within the PRH/Third Ward Community, studio visits with established Houston-based artists and a culminating monthlong exhibition." Participating artists include: Michella Fanin (HCC), Jorge Galvan (UH), Jonatan Lopez (HCC), Renata Lucia (Glassell), Robert McShan (TSU), Rebecca Novak (Glassell), and Roseane Volchan O'Connor (Glassell).
