"The exhibition Grounded provides a reflection on the current state of our environment, with an emphasis on lens-based responses created by artists working in photography and video.  In its various forms, the word ground or grounded can be associated with the surface of the earth, with balance and stability, or conversely with limitations of movement.  These artists comment on our fragile relationship with our surroundings and, on a broader level, reference our connection with the planet.
