December 03 - December 03,2023
From ClayHouston:
"Houston's first and only citywide tour of ceramic artists' studios will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
HOUSTON … ClayHouston's Bayou City Clay Crawl returns Sunday, December 3 for its seventh annual event, providing the public with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to tour studios and discover pieces created by ClayHouston member artists in time for holiday shopping.
Bayou City Clay Crawl (https://www.clayhouston.org/bccc) is unique in that we invite the public into our studios to talk to the artists, see some demos, and enjoy immersion in the clay world. And, of course, a wide variety of pieces are available for purchase.
The 2023 Bayou City Clay Crawl is a Heights-centric crawl with bookends in East Downtown and Independence Heights, featuring over 60 artists participating in ten studios, offering unique pieces ranging from traditional pottery to large-scale sculptures as well as installations and demonstrations. The event will be held from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (Central Time).
The Bayou City Clay Crawl is free to the public, family-friendly, and visitors can start at any location. Participating studios will feature resident artists as well as guest artists.
