Judith Godwin: Early Abstractions

The McNay presents a strong show of Godwin's work from the early 1950s though the mid-60s. Godwin was one of a handful of female artists, along with Helen Frankenthaler and Joan Mitchell, who were regularly exhibiting in New York during this time. There's lots of good, mid-century modernist paintings in this show, so if that's your thing, then it's definitely not to be missed!
