Victoria Morales Walters: Colliding Worlds

August 26 - October 04,2024

From Dallas College:
"The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery is excited to present “Colliding Worlds” a solo exhibition by Victoria Morales Walters. Walter’s use of black lights, neon paints, and extraterrestrial creations all work together to create a truly surreal experience you won’t want to miss.
Victoria Morales Walters is a recent MFA Graduate of The University of Dallas, after her completing her BFA degree at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She has had solo shows at The University of Dallas, and R Town Gallery in Grapevine. The artist proposes a scenario where she is the leader of an organization known as Worlds Collide, which is "behind the observation and study of (alien) creatures that were discovered when mysterious portals opened at various locations on Earth." Her work is a mix of science fiction, science fair display, and funhouse mystery. The artist currently resides in Austin, Texas.
Join us Wednesday, September 4th 12-2 pm for a reception with the artist. The reception is open to the public and free.
The exhibition opens on Monday, August 26th and will be on view through Friday October 4th. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information, please contact: galleries@dallascollege.edu"
