Small Works

November 22 - January 03,2025

From the Georgetown Art Center:

"Beginning November 22, the Georgetown Art Center is proud to present the opening of our newest exhibit Small Works. Small Works is a juried art exhibit organized and hosted by the Georgetown Art Center. There will be an opening reception and the announcement of the winners on Saturday, November 23 from 4-6pm.

Small Works 2024 will be held from November 22, 2024, through January 3, 2025. Prizes – Including a $500 Best of Show – will be awarded and announced at the opening reception. The judge awarding prizes is Caroline Frost. Frost is the Assistant Director at Commerce Gallery in Lockhart, TX, an independent curator, and a frequent contributing writer for Glasstire.

The Small Works exhibit will showcase a diverse array of miniature masterpieces from local and regional artists, celebrating creativity and craftsmanship in a compact format. Each piece, no larger than 12 inches in any dimension, challenges artists to distill their vision into a condensed presentation, resulting in a diverse and compelling display. The exhibit will offer an intimate viewing experience, encouraging close inspection and appreciation of the intricate details and unique styles that make each work of art a standout.

The exhibit will run from November 22, 2024, through January 3, 2025, and is free to attend."
