The Art Guys: New Clich

The Art Guys have certainly been busy lately! In addition to being featured in concurrent shows at the CAMH and the Art Car Museum, they also have a solo show at McClain. Featuring their sometimes provocative, and always entertaining brand of work, New Clichés includes the morose, yet wacky Forever Yours, a pair of life-size bronze replica busts of The Art Guys that will eventually house the cremated ashes of the artists. Other works include collage, conceptual drawings, large scale match drawings, sculptures and video sculptures. It's classic Art Guys at their best. And if that isn't enough, head over to The Art Guys World Headquarters at 5757 Knox Street on Saturday, May 9 from 11 am - 1 pm to check out rarely seen works, some exhibited for the first time in Houston!
