Hasta La Basura Se Separa [artcrush]

This show addresses "the excess waste of overwhelming consumerism" (el exceso de desechos por el consumismo desbordado). Austin-based group Los Outsiders: Salvador Castillo, Michael Anthony García and Hector Hernandez curated Hasta, which was originally presented at the Galleria del Espacio Cultural de la Antigua Aduana in the border town of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Expect a mixed bag of work from 13 artists, all of whom use trash as their material. The tower of discarded upholstery cushions looks like fun. Stay gold, Los Outsiders!
