The Menil Collection presents the first major U.S. exhibition in nearly 40 years to focus exclusively on the work of Latin American artist Joaquín Torres-García. Curated by the MFAH's Mari Carmen Ramírez, in collaboration with Menil Director Josef Helfenstein, this exhibit includes more than 80 three-dimensional works, oil paintings, and drawings. In conjunction with the Menil presentation, the MFAH will feature an installation of Torres-García paintings from private collections in Houston.
