McClain Gallery unveils two different solo exhibitions set to open on Thursday and Friday, May 7 & 8. Karin Broker's Oddities and Other Opinions features her drawings, collages, and objects with rendered flowers inspired by the romance of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Take a frightening ride into the world of John Alexander (shown) with his new major painting titled Life on a Merry-Go-Round. This large scale piece depicts a carnival-like, nightmarish scene packed with Alexander's standard cast of masked figures, monkeys, and demons.
