The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston showcases the new exhibition The Allure of Nature: 19th-Century Landscape Drawings from the MFAH Collection. This exhibition highlights realistic rendering of the outdoors created through plein-air sketching in the 19th century. Accurately rendered topographical views of landscapes and precise locales was preferred by the 18th-century art market and also featured in this show.
