Vernon Fisher: K-Mart Conceptualism

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth presents one of Texas's most internationally recognized artists, Vernon Fisher in K-Mart Conceptualism. Organized by the Museum's chief curator, Michael Auping, the exhibition is a survey of paintings, sculptures, and installations spanning the late 1970s to the present. Many of the artist's best-known works, drawn from public and private collections in the United States and Europe are featured. Accompanying the exhibition is a book published by the University of Texas Press, with essays by Frances Colpitt, Ned Rifkin, and an interview with the artist by Michael Auping.
