Guns and Roses: Shannon Cannings and Ann Wood

Guns and Roses features large oil paintings by Shannon Cannings and mixed media installation by Ann Woods. Cannings, whose work is included in the current Texas Biennial, paints images of toy guns, while Wood creates sculptural works employing hunter’s decoys and taxidermist’s forms. Wood currently has a solo exhibition on view at the Galveston Arts Center.
