Joe Meiser: Sentition

Joe Meiser's sculptural and performance-based objects take advantage of the human tendency to mythologize, using it as both the subject and strategy of his work. It's a nebulous endeavor: says Meiser, "I construct object-based sculpture while simultaneously making installations and including performance. Whether my action is the work, or my action produces the work . . ." well, that's up to you to decide.
