Summer Video Jam: John Carrithers, Carlton Aherns and Ford Gunter

Co-presented by the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston and Aurora Picture Show, this month's Summer Video Jam features editor and filmmaker John Carrithers, editor and filmmaker who recently directed and co-produced a film documenting Cai Guo-Qiang's large-scale gunpowder painting commissioned by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Carlton Aherns and Ford Gunter, who teamed up in 2008 to form del monte films, began rolling on their first feature-length project, Art Car: The Movie, a year later.
