AutoBody

September 30 - January 29,2011

AutoBody, curated by Neville Wakefield, explores the mythology of the American automobile, featuring works by Liz Cohen, Matthew Day Jackson, and Jonathan Schipper and North of South West of East, a film by Meredith Danluck, shot on location in Detroit, Michigan and Marfa. After the opening, there's a community dinner at the Capri at 8:30pm, followed by a performance by the all-female mariachi band Mariachi Las Alteñas.

Including a performance by experimental metal guitarist Mick Barr at 7pm.
