San Antonio Collects: Theodore Gentilz and Mission Life of San Antonio and Northern Mexico

The second exhibition in SAMA's three-part San Antonio Collects series. The sketching and paintings of French-born Theodore Gentilz, one of the earliest professional artists in San Antonio. Borrowed from local collectors, they highlight the people, places, customs and architecture from the end of the Republic of Texas.
