Vivian L. Smith Foundation Symposium: Pop and Public Art

Inspired by Claes Oldenburg's Geometric Mouse at Houston's Central Library, symposium speakers Lisa Freiman, curator at the Indianapolis Museum of Art; Tom Eccles, director of the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, and former director of the Public Art Fund; and Benjamin Buchloh, professor of modern art at Harvard talk about public pop art. Amanda Douberley, the Menil Collection's 2011-12 Vivian L. Smith Foundation Fellow from the UT, will moderate.
