37th Annual Ruth K. Shartle Symposium. The symposium addresses how photography has captured the act and aftermath of war, shaping the understanding of specific wars and the general phenomenon of war. Three panel discussions, moderated by exhibition co-curators, feature six photographers: Carolyn Cole, Jim Goldberg, Don McCullin, Susan Meiselas, James Nachtwey and Jonathan Torgovnik.
