Ignacio Uriarte: Infinity

Screen Projects transform the face of the Jones Center building at night into a video projection, invigorating the core of downtown Austin with public art. Drawing on his previous life working in business administration, Berlin-based artist Ignacio Uriarte uses standard office supplies as his art making tools to explore routine, recurring moments that transpire within the workplace. His video Infinity (2010) features a hand-drawn infinity symbol fluctuating across the screen with poignant simplicity.
