Calaveras Mexicanas: The Art and Influence of José Guadalupe Posada

The exhibition Calaveras Mexicanas: The Art and Influence of José Guadalupe Posada marks the 100th anniversary of the death of José Guadalupe Posada, whose prints of calaveras (skulls) and Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) imagery have become iconic. Calaveras Mexicanas includes some 50 prints, drawings and photographs, including works by Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Earl Staley and Trenton Doyle Hancock.
